Inclusive Meals
Our freshly cooked onsite meals, snacks and drinks are healthy, balanced and nutritious. Meals are included in paid sessions. If your child is funded there is option to bring a packed lunch or pay for a cooked meal.
A Typical Day
Children feel secure when they have routine. Every day is full of singing, stories, colours, numbers, messy play and building. We support through event sequencing – e.g. tidy up time, hand washing, songs around the lunch table, story time etc. We support children’s developing skills within the structure of the EYFS.

Active Play
Our fun weekly moto skills sessions involve balancing, throwing, jumping, colours and counting. Sessions are delivered by KIDACTIVE.
Communication
We recognise the importance of a partnership therefore we endeavour to build a relationship to guarantee excellent two-way communication. Parents/ guardians are consulted on a regular basic regarding the welfare, well-being, learning and development of their child.
Settling In
The first few weeks when a child is settling into ABC Nursery is a time of crucial importance to their later happiness in the setting. All children are individuals and while some children will adjust fairly easily to the new environment and new routines, others will take longer to feel comfortable and secure.
Once a child has a place confirmed, the Manager will arrange settling in sessions to ensure that the child has a smooth transition into nursery.
Food and Drink
Before a child is admitted to the setting we will obtain information about any special dietary requirements, preferences and food allergies that a child may have, and any special health requirements.
We have suitable facilities for the hygienic preparation of food for children. Our freshly cooked onsite meals, snacks and drinks are healthy, balanced and nutritious. Fresh drinking water is available at all times.
