What We Offer
Induction
We provide a supporting induction. During this period staff complete training in childcare and health and safety to promote confidence so that they are able to fulfil job role duties.
Our staff have access to free online CPD training in childcare, health and safety, food hygiene etc. We have many courses that you can obtain to add to your CV.
All our staff have free 24-hour access to confidential support, advice and short-term counselling to help them deal with personal and work-related problems that are impacting their physical and mental well-being at work.
Our facilities at St Andrews Primary are excellent and offer our staff (and children) a spacious indoor and outdoor surroundings. We occupy multiple areas of the school so that we can deliver crafts, games, sports and active free play.
If you like variety in your working day then we are a great option as our staff are involved in moving around our site involved in crafts, games, music, sports both indoors and out.

Holiday lead
Overview
A Lead is responsible for a group of children (of similar age) and remains with them throughout the day moving around the club partaking in different indoor and outdoor activities. The club is primarily child led. The leads primary focus is to supervise, set up activities and ensure that children are engaged in their sessions and happy throughout their day.

We operate during all school holidays i.e. half terms, Easter and Summer. You can opt out of work that is offered to you however we are looking for someone that is more often available to work than not so that we can ensure that we have consistency within our team.
Our Clubs operate Monday to Friday between 8.15am and 6.15pm so the work offered to you will be between 8am or 9am start and 5pm or 6pm finish. We can be flexible within reason.
We provide you with free snacks, tea and coffee and lunch.
A pay grade is offered based on age, qualification(s), working experience(s) in childcare and overall ability to be a great childcare lead.
Ages 21+ = £12.00 - £14.00 p/h
Ages 18-20 = £9.00 +
Is there any criteria?
You must be aged 18+ with the right to work in the UK. You must be able to demonstrate verbal English communication. Successful applicants will be required to go through a safer recruitment process (DBS).
It depends on the role that you apply for. Management and leadership roles will have set requirements. Some jobs may only require experience.
Experience is desirable however we are looking for persons that enjoy working with children and who are confident in their ability to positively engage. If you think you can bring value to an advertised role, we'd love to learn more so please get in touch.
